The Placement of Your Trash Can Matters
The correct placement of your trash help ensure the proper collection of your garbage, recyclables or yard waste. Most collection trucks are armed with an automated electronic arm that grabs and empties the can. Do not park cars on the street during trash/recycle days to avoid interruption with the collection service.
All sections have new refuse trucks with the automated arm. Please do not park cars on the street on collection days. If the truck cannot access the bins, they will skip collection until the following scheduled day.
Waste Connections requires each homeowner to use the trash bin provided for trash.
You are allowed to place up to six (6) additional 30-33 gallon standard bags or bundles less than 2 cubic yards (6’x3’x3’) not to exceed 40lb next to the trash bin. Bundles must be wrapped in twine or string in 4’ sections.
